 Course Description: Career preparedness is a one credit course required for graduation at Southside High School. The course focuses on three integrated areas of instruction-academic planning and career development, financial literacy, and technology. Course content ranges from college and career preparation to computer literacy skills to ways to manage personal finances and reduce personal risk.

 

 

Supplies Required: Students should be prepared with pencil or pen, 3 ring notebook, and paper for every class.

Grading Policy: Grades are taken almost daily and will be from tests, classwork, quality of computer documents, and on following instructions. FINAL GRADE: A comprehensive final will be given, 1rd and 2th nine-week averages will each count 45% of your final grade, with the final counting 10%.
