Parents and students are invited to attend an important Dual Enrollment Informational Meeting hosted by Gadsden State Community College (GSCC).

📍 Southside High School Auditorium
If your child is currently in Dual Enrollment or is interested in getting started, you will not want to miss this meeting! GSCC will be sharing new information and will be available to answer any questions you may have.
🕑 Additional Help Available:
Mrs. Clark and Mr. Drake from GSCC will be in the SHS Lobby from 2:00–5:00 PM to assist parents with questions and provide support.
We encourage all interested families to attend and learn more about this great opportunity for students to earn college credit while in high school! 🎓✨

📸🎓 Senior Cap & Gown Photo Information 🎓📸
Senior cap and gown photos will be taken on Wednesday, April 29th in the LC (Learning Commons) from 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM.
All seniors will have their photo taken during this time. Students may bring their own cap and gown or use one provided by the school.
We will have the following available for students who need them:
❗ Please note: We will NOT provide cords for photos. If you would like to wear cords, you must bring your own.
📌 Dual Enrollment, Co-Op, and Career Tech students:
Please make plans to be on campus between 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM to have your photo taken.

🔬 Join the Southside High Science Club!
Love science? Want to explore, learn, and connect with other curious minds? The Southside High Science Club meets monthly and hosts exciting Science Café nights in the LC at our Claws Out Café.
Each Café night features guest speakers who share their expertise, experiences, and passion for science.

Students are allowed to carry backpacks that are clear or mesh to classrooms. Any other backpack/bag must be stored in a locker that is assigned to the student. Students will not receive locker information until the first day of school in homeroom. They will have time to find their locker and store their belongings during homeroom.
