Important Information about Absences

If your child is absent only one day, we ask that you allow them to get make-up work when they return to school with a written excuse from you or your doctor.

Please give the teachers until the end of the school day before you pick up missed work assignments in the Guidance Office. It takes awhile to compile the work from each teacher.

Contact the Guidance Office if your child has any illness/condition that should be noted on his/her permanent records. If school personnel should be made aware of this, the counselor will do so, otherwise this and all other information will be held with strict confidentiality.

Parents

The guidance office seeks to encourage and atmosphere of helpful communication among educators, students and parents. The counselors are willing to listen and help with valuable services. They are also available to assist with progress reports, illness assignments, and parent/teacher conferences.
