The following is a list of basic supplies needed. Students will receive more detailed information for each class during the first days of the school year.

Senior Yearbook Ad Sales Open Aug. 1st!
Celebrate your Class of 2025 Senior with a personal ad in this year’s Southside High School Yearbook! Whether you want to share favorite photos, words of encouragement, or a tribute to their accomplishments, a senior ad is a memorable way to honor your graduate.
You have two easy options to purchase and create your ad:

Prefer to pay by cash or check and submit completed ad at a later time?Complete this form and submit it along with your payment. You’ll be able to create and submit your ad at a later time.
Important Deadline:All senior ads must be purchased by November 21, 2025.(You do not have to finish designing it by that date—but the ad must be purchased.)

Students are allowed to carry backpacks that are clear or mesh to classrooms. Any other backpack/bag must be stored in a locker that is assigned to the student. Students will not receive locker information until the first day of school in homeroom. They will have time to find their locker and store their belongings during homeroom.
Beginning with the 2025-2026 school year, the use of cell phones and other wireless devices will be banned during the instructional day in all Alabama’s public schools.

We are excited about our Parent Teacher Organization for the year of 2024-2025! Plan now to join PTO this year and getting involved in what is going on at Southside High. There is no better way to stay connected and involved in your students education than to be actively involved at their school.

To purchase a Southside Strong T-shirt click here to place your order. All orders must be received and paid for no later than Friday, August 23rd. There are two options for payment:
1 - Cash/Check made to Southside High in an envelope or ziplock marked "Your Name/PTO Shirts" turned in to the front office of the school.
