Student Projects: Position Versus Time Graph and Velocity Versus Time Graph
1) Each student must create both graphs.
2) Each graph should be on a separate piece of graph paper.
3) Each graph must contain at least 5 intervals.
4) The graph must cross the x axis at least one time.
5) The graph must go in the positive and negative direction at least once.
6) The graph must contain at least one straight horizontal section.
7) Students must come up with a story line for each graph and come up with 7 questions
pertaining to their graph. Questions need to be on the bottom half of the paper under the graph
8) Students must answer their own questions on the back of the graph.
9) Make sure that the graph is fully labeled.
