9th Grade World History

Course Description

During the course of this class we will discuss and examine key developments from medieval times to modern times.  We will focus on major trends and revolutionary ideas of the Enlightenment era through the Cold War and eventual breakdown of communism in the Soviet Union.

 

Grading

Grades will be determined by the total point method.  There will be no scaling.

Class Rules

Please refer to the Student Handbook and Code of Conduct; I will be in compliance with school policy. Writing assignments will be given to students when rules are not followed.

  1. Be courteous
  2. Bring textbook, paper, and writing utensils to class daily.
  3. No throwing of paper or other objects in the classroom.
  4. Students are expected to be in their desks when the bell rings or they may be subject to being marked tardy.
  5. Students are expected to remain in their desk unless they are given permission.
  6. No sleeping in class.
