AUDIO BIOGRAPHY PROJECT

UNIT 1 – Introduction to Class

 

Welcome to Music Appreciation!  Our first project is all about you.  The goal of this project is for students to get to know one another using music.

 

Assignment:

Pick a favorite song, or a song that you think describes you in some way, and tell us about yourself while we listen to the song.  Tell us where you’re from, what are your hobbies, what activities you’re involved in, and anything else you can think of.  HAVE FUN WITH IT!

 

You will also write up your biography to be entered in your notebook as  “Journal #1”.

 

Presentation – 5-6 Minutes 

 

You can bring in your own devise for this project.  The Bandroom is equipped with a stereo system and a standard headphone jack.  You may also bring music in own a cd.  If you need help accessing music please let me know a.s.a.p.  Please remember the policy on individual music in the syllabus!
