Course Description

English 12 is an intensive study of British literature, writing styles of various authors and poets, and usage of polished English grammar skills.
Students will be expected to read a number of literary works both in and outside of class. Likewise, students will write for various purposes and participate in a variety of class discussions. Each graded essay will include a research component in MLA style.

Students must heed the warning that plagiarism will not be tolerated and will result in a failing grade on any assignment in which plagiarism is found. Plagiarism is the theft and subsequent use of someone else’s written knowledge.

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to English 12. I am honored to introduce you to one of the most exciting and creative endeavors the world has ever known – British Literature.
