The goal of the Southside High School Band Program is to encourage students to become quality young men and women using the medium of music. Our band program serves as an ambassador for Southside High School, the cities of Southside and Rainbow City, and the Great State of Alabama.

The Southside Band Staff is dedicated to providing an educational, positive, and safe environment that promotes the growth and development of musicianship and character. "The PRIDE" performs for thousands of people each year at football games, competitions, concerts, recitals, concerts, parades, and many other events.

With dedication to musical and personal excellence, this band strives to represent Southside with distinction and class.
