I am a graduate of Ashville High School and the University of Alabama. I received my master's degree from UA in Human and Environmental Sciences. I am a highly qualified educator, a certified Serv-Safe, FDA and ALEI instructor. I began my teaching career in 1993 at John Pope Eden Career Technical Center where I taught Fashion and Housing Design. I began my career at SHS in 1997. Since that time, I have taught FACS I, Parent and Life Connections, Personal Finance, Dietetics, Sports Nutrition, Housing and Interior Design, Event Planning, and Fashion Design.  I have served as FCCLA Co-sponsor, ASTRA sponsor, SHS Junior Class Sponsor, Senior Class Sponsor and I am currently serving as the SHS Adventus Sponsor (yearbook).
