Todd Clough is a 1985 graduate of Southside High School. He lettered in three sports and was a recipient of the Rodney Long Award his Senior for his outstanding performance in the classroom, on the field, and in the school community. Todd married Jenny Clough, a 1988 Southside High School graduate, in 1996. They have one daughter, Taylor Clough who is a Senior and SGA Chaplain at Southside High School. Following his graduation Todd served in the United States Army for six years. He received an Honorable Discharge in 1997 from his final post as a member of the prestigious and highly lauded 101st Airborne Screaming Eagles. He received an Associates in Theological Studies from Covington Theological Seminary in 2013 continuing his studies at Covington to receive a Bachelor of Ministry in 2014. Todd was licensed and ordained into the ministry by Whorton Bend Baptist Church in 2014 as well.
He returned to his alma mater in 2013 to serve as Chaplain for the Southside Panther Athletic Program. In his tenure as Chaplain, he serves athletes from all sports as well as the coaches and faculty of Southside High School. Todd grew up in the shadows of the old high school and spent many days of his childhood on the campus of “dear ole' Southside High.” His fondest memories include his time as an athlete and student at Southside. He is proud to be part of the Panthers and prayerfully anticipates making many more memories at SHS.
